General Information
-
What is Panther Volleyball Training?
Panther Volleyball Training provides inclusive, high-quality volleyball instruction for girls ages 12U–15U. Our goal is to build confidence, skill, and a love for the game through positive, structured, and engaging sessions.
-
Who can participate?
Our programs are open to girls aged 12U through 15U (typically middle school athletes). We welcome all experience levels — from beginners learning the basics to players preparing for school tryouts.
-
Do players need to be on a team to join?
No. You don’t have to play for a club or school team to participate. Our sessions are designed to help all players improve, regardless of where they play.
-
Where are your events held?
Unless otherwise noted, all events are held at our training location:
5108 Old Powell Rd, Holly Springs, NC. -
Can parents stay to watch?
Drop-off is encouraged so parents can enjoy some child-free time while athletes train. You’re always welcome to stay and observe open gym sessions quietly if you’d like. However, small group training and clinics are closed practices.
Events, Clinics & Open Gyms
-
What types of events do you offer?
We offer a variety of ways for athletes to train and play:
• Clinics — Focused sessions targeting specific skills.
• Camps — Multi-day training that combines skill work, teamwork, and gameplay.
• Open Gym — Supervised sessions with structured game play for maximum time on the court. -
How long are the sessions?
Most clinics are 2–3 hours, while camps may run 4 hours per day for multiple days. Each event page lists its schedule and details.
-
How are players grouped?
Players are grouped by age and ability level so everyone can learn, compete, and improve in an encouraging setting.
-
Will my athlete be evaluated?
Coaches provide on-court feedback throughout each session to help players recognize strengths and areas to focus on. Evaluations are informal and supportive.
Community & Communication
-
Do you offer private lessons?
We do not offer one-on-one private lessons, but we do provide cost-effective small group sessions for athletes who want extra training in a smaller, focused setting.
-
Do you partner with schools or colleges
Yes. We collaborate with local schools and universities to expand access, offer mentorship opportunities, and expose young athletes to higher levels of the game.
-
How can local businesses or organizations support Panther Volleyball Training?
